LECTURE OF STEPHEN BROOKFIELD ON CRITICAL AND CREATIVE THINKING

According to Stephen Brookfield, he explains how the professors can change the students' minds. Many students are focusing on only superficial knowledge. But they are not taking the challenge to go deeper to analyze, explore and investigate alternative perspectives. As a result, educators have to use strategies, methods, etc, to expose students to make an effort to think with critical thinking.
When a student puts in practice these strategies to think with criteria, they develop good arguments. For that, it is necessary to know the difference between analogical, inferential, induction and deduction and how it can use.  If the student has creative thinking, it has to be open-minded. The purpose is that you have to be in constant renovation with knowledge. Based on that, it is possible to draw hypotheses, ideas, mental frameworks and have experienced.

    Concise and straight to the point. I like how it was synthesized in a single paragraph, and I feel that there were not very relevant aspects outside the reflection. Still, it is important to recall some of those strategies that you mention, in order to create a more tangible idea about how critical thinking works in a classroom.
    In general it is a precise idea of ​​the lecture and I like that without having to go into details that could have been unnecessary, you were able to give a general idea that can easily remind you the most important aspects in the lecture.

    I just appreciate how you took the main details to compress extense ideas. You did not have to write that much to get yourself understood, and still, give a clear criteria towards the concept of Critical and Creative Thinking.
